Staci Belcher

I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and founder of Nutrition Made Well. I believe in actively cultivating the life that fills up your belly, soul, and mind. Nutrition Made Well was created to help you find what food, movement, and perspectives make you uniquely well. Click below to read more about Staci or make an appointment. Every person’s health journey is unique and my health philosophy stems from this truth. A scientist at heart, I have investigated, and continue to study, the nuances and ever increasing information in the field of nutrition. This combined with my work with clients, the community, and my own health journey, I have found three points of health to be of particular importance, and ones I bring up in conversations with my clients over and over. This triad is not all-encompassing, but without them, I believe true wellness is out of reach.

FOOD
There is no question that food influences how we feel—and I believe in always taking cues from the body to help navigate the food choices that are best in that moment. I believe the focus on food should be shifted towards the nutrients in food, the taste of food, and the pleasure found in food. Eating mindfully allows us to enjoy all that food offers us and creates an environment in which we can truly acknowledge how food makes us feel, and naturally gravitate towards those that make us feel our best.

MOVEMENT
Moving your body in a way that feels good and offers a space to connect with your body is one of the most rewarding joys in life. That may mean feeling the burn in a push up or working to catch your breath on a run. Regardless of how you do it, exercise promotes health of your entire body and benefits your mind, body, and soul. I believe in moving your body in ways that make you settle in to the pose, rhythm, or cadence because it is exactly what your body craved.

PERSPECTIVES
It is difficult to truly love a healthy body if the mind is filled with stress, worry, and conflict. One of the most essential tasks we have in life is to find the perspectives that give us peace, feel optimistic, and, most importantly, those that help us feel safe. Creating a life-practice that prioritizes carving space to work through our thoughts is crucial to identify our emotions, cope with our feelings, and speak our capital “T” Truth.
