Co-op membership
Co-op: ˈkōˌäp/ noun. a cooperative society, business, or enterprise.
As you know, a co-op is a group coming together for a common goal. Thus, Athens Therapy Co-op is a collective of therapist members who are committed to part-time private practice. 485 Huntington Road #197 is the headquarters for the co-op, but members are not limited to practicing there. Some will choose to see clients virtually. Others may be retired or on sabbatical from private practice, but choosing to keep their license(s) active, and looking for a physical address for mail or space to host meetings from time to time. Some will choose to rent office space at the co-op to receive referrals and run their part-time practice. The co-op is a space where newly licensed and seasoned private practice therapists can network and learn from each other. It is a space where members can gather for lunch, facilitate groups, make copies, and do administrative work. Benefits of co-op membership include printer, paper, voicemail, physical address and mailbox, water for clients, secure wifi for clinicians and guest wifi for clients, inclusion on our co-op website, ability to rent offices for individual sessions or groups, and opportunities to network with others. Annual membership is just $100 per professional. For additional rates, see our office rental page to download a service menu. The structure of membership rental will be changing slightly in January 2020, with additional membership levels and benefits.
