Anna Langer, Intern
I am a second year Masters of Social Work student at the University of Georgia. In 2021, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Rochester, and then spent a year as a full time Research Associate at UGA’s Health and Development Lab. I have previous experience working with children with diverse needs and interests through therapeutic horseback riding, as well as working with children in a variety of education settings. I have co-led an expressive arts grief group for healing after the loss of a beloved pet through my internship at UGA’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital. I am passionate about incorporating human-animal bonds, art, and nature in my work as tools for expression and joy, and am committed to fostering an inclusive, safe environment for everyone I interact with. In my free time, I enjoy kayaking, roller skating, or making homemade pizzas!
