Amber England
Amber England is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed School Counselor. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Georgia and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Augusta University. As a school counselor at Oconee Middle and Oconee High School, she served children and families for over ten years. The past five years she has chosen to work with Headstart and Pre-K children as a Mental Health Specialist in Northeast Georgia. In her practice, she counsels middle and high school aged clients for a variety of issues including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, academic concerns, attachment, grief and divorce related issues. She utilizes a variety of counseling modalities to assist clients in meeting therapeutic goals such
as Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Art Therapy and Bibliotherapy. Though she offers direct services to adolescents, she believes integration of parents and family members in the counseling process is essential. Amber accepts Aetna, Amerigroup, Ambetter, BCBS, Cigna, Humana, Peachstate, CareSource, and Medicaid.
