Kyli Greer, Intern
Hi! My name is Kyli Greer, BSW, and I’m currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at the University of Georgia! I graduated from Appalachian State University in the Spring of 2025 with a Bachelor of Social Work and a deep passion for creating safe spaces for youth experiencing mental health challenges, disabilities, and traumatic experiences. As an emerging clinician, I wholeheartedly believe in the transformational power of befriending the parts of ourselves we’re often taught to ignore or hide. My background includes experience in outdoor education and nonprofit work, where I’ve focused on creating empowering, inclusive, and self-reflective experiences for youth.
I’m certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) and CPR for infants, children, and adults. In my free time, I love being outdoors, whether that’s hiking, skiing, or soaking up the sunshine. I also enjoy reading, listening to bluegrass music, making art, and going to concerts! I am so grateful to be joining Athens Therapy Co-op as an intern therapist this year, and I look forward to building supportive, authentic relationships with the children, teens, and families I work with!
