Danielle Vaughn, Intern
Hi! I’m Dani Vaughn. It’s great to connect with you! I am a third-year doctoral student in the PhD in School Psychology program at the University of Georgia. When I am finished with my program, I will be certified as a school psychologist and licensed as a clinical psychologist.
I moved to Athens, GA, from St. Louis, Missouri, where I attained my bachelor's in Behavioral Neuroscience and master's in Clinical Psychology. I have a passion for supporting children’s mental health. I previously worked in a neuropsychology office, helping children with various medical diagnoses and neurodevelopmental disorders like autism and ADHD. Before that, I enjoyed teaching preschoolers and elementary schoolers with special needs. Most recently, I spent a year working at the UGA School Psychology Clinic, providing recommendations to best support children’s learning and mental health. Though my particular areas of interest lie in helping children navigate challenges related to ADHD, anxiety, and autism, I welcome the opportunity to work with children with a wide range of needs.
In my free time, you'll find me immersed in a book, enjoying quality time with my dog, studying at coffee shops with friends, or fitting in a good workout! I look forward to meeting you and your family!
