Meg Hayes, Intern
Hello! I'm Meg (she/her), and I am one of the interns at Athens Therapy Co-op. I'm currently a graduate student in the University of Georgia's Master of Social Work program, and I recently earned a Bachelor's degree in social work at UGA as well. My education has allowed me to develop foundations in childhood development, behavioral interventions, familial systems, and substance use. I take a holistic approach to addressing one's physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs. I bring a compassionate and empathetic approach to my work that encourages vulnerability, honesty, and collaboration. One of my biggest objectives is to empower clients to lead their most fulfilling lives. In my free time, I enjoy tending to my plants, reading a good book, hanging out with my cats, and spending time outdoors.
