Audey Lee
Audey has always been passionate about youth rights and has grown a passion for helping families. Before joining Children First staff, Audey was a CASA volunteer, and worked with Jackson County DFCS and Rose of Athens Theatre. With a LMSW and MNPO from the University of Georgia, Audey's role as the SafeCare Program Director involves visiting families and teaching parenting skills. They also have a BFA in theater performance furthering their interest in performance arts, crafting, and gardening
Audey is providing clinical counseling services through a collaboration between Athens Therapy Co-op and Children First, Inc. of Athens. This position is a shared position between the two organizations in an effort to provide much-needed services to children and families. Children First has graciously allowed Audey to serve clients through Athens Therapy Co-op at The Children First location at 693 North Pope Street, Athens GA 30601.
The memorandum of understanding between organizations affirms the importance of confidentiality, and no details of client sessions or demographic information will be shared with Children First staff or volunteers. Audey's clinical oversight and guidance will come from Athens Therapy Co-op therapist-supervisors with extensive experience working with young children.
